Have your say in the Cavan Monaghan Ward Boundary Review!

Did you know that Township Councillors are elected in three separate wards?

The Township of Cavan Monaghan has retained Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. in association with Dr. Robert J. Williams to conduct a comprehensive and independent Ward Boundary Review.  This Review will seek to identify effective and equitable electoral ward boundaries for the 2022 municipal election and beyond.

Phase One began with a thorough evaluation of the present wards for electing Councillors as the basis for developing possible alternative ward boundary configurations.  This consultation process included two virtual information sessions held on Wednesday, December 16 at  2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  These sessions can be viewed on the Township’s YouTube channel.

Phase Two public consultation will include two virtual open house sessions:

Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
