Event Details:
The Cavan Monaghan Community Centre will be bringing back pickleball again this year. Starting Monday, April 17th, 2023, we will host daytime pickleball for both beginner and intermediate players.
Dates: Monday, Tuesday and Fridays
Times: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Day Session: Monday April 17th – Tuesday July 18th 2023
Cost: $3.00/hour
We have 6 new courts painted on the arena floor in an indoor and air-conditioned facility. The courts will be divided into 4 intermediate and 2 beginner courts.
This is a drop-in program; however, a booking system will be applied if demand is high.
Court allocation will be determined using the popular system of alternating courts by dropping paddles into a winner/loser box.
Balls will be supplied, and there is a limited supply of paddles for beginners to borrow while they learn the sport. We strongly suggest that all participants wear protective eyewear and appropriate court shoes with decent tread.
We will have some advanced/intermediate players who will provide some basic training to newcomers for the first few weeks.
We will also add some Family Pickleball to our lineup, but details will follow.
